The Space Coast is a bit different than most other Florida destinations during the Spring season. Cocoa Beach is our most well-known and popular beach. If you’re looking for a lively experience with incredible amenities like surf lessons, beach cruiser rentals, volleyball boxes, events, and beachfront tiki shacks and restaurants, you’ve got to be in Cocoa Beach. There are plenty of people watching and family-friendly activities to take part in Cocoa Beach on the Space Coast.

If you’re looking for a more secluded beach getaway, Florida’s Space Coast has an abundance of those as well! From the pristine beaches of Canaveral National Seashore to the Beaches of Patrick Space Force Base, and the crystal-blue waves at the Sebastian Inlet State Park, there’s plenty of sand to spread out on the Space Coast

Kayaking the Thousand Island Conservation Area

@cocoakayaking

The Indian River Lagoon is one of the most ecologically diverse estuaries in North America. It’s home to thousands of species of fish, birds, and marine mammals. It’s also a great place to explore during a Spring Getaway. Take a guided kayak tour to explore the Thousand Island Conservation Area, or rent a paddleboard in the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge to paddle around with manatees and dolphins in the mangrove tunnels There are also plenty of boat rental options on the Space Coast for a motorized lagoon experience. Grab some fishing rods and hop from dock-to-dock as you experience the best of the Indian River Lagoon. It’s a trip you and your family will never forget!

Take to the Trails on your Spring Getaway
