Turkey Creek Sanctuary

Turkey Creek Sanctuary is a 130-acred sanctuary surrounded by sand pines, saw palmettos and live oaks. A boardwalk natural trail twists and turns along the murky, bass-filled black water creek, a major stopover for spring and fall migratory birds including the woodpecker and rare purple martin amongst other wildlife. For a place to get outside and enjoy the scenic landscape, Turkey Creek Sanctuary provides that and more. The on-site nature center provides educational interpretive exhibits and a gift shop where you can take home a souvenir to commemorate your time there.
