Cape Canaveral Space Force Station

Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is home to the United States Air Force Space Command’s 45th Space Wing. This is where many of today’s rocket launches take place, but it’s also the launch site of many American space pioneers including the first U.S. Earth satellite, the first U.S. astronaut, and the first U.S. astronaut in orbit, to name a few. While most of Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is closed to the public, you can tour the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse with an official lighthouse tour.
