Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has entered the Halloween scene! Join us for the first-ever S.T.E.A.M. Halloween, where fantasy meets the very real magic of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). This one-of-a-kind event ignites curiosity and excitement for all ages through hands-on activities and science experiments that are as educational as they are entertaining.
During S.T.E.A.M. Halloween, be sure to check out:
Hallowed-themed science demonstrations and interactive experiments at the S.T.E.A.M. Team interactive carts (October 13 – November 2)
Treat stations in NASA Central from local vendors
Space-themed photo opportunities in your costumes
Meet-and-greet with Jack Links’ Sasquatch
Kids costume contest in the Rocket Garden daily at 1:00 PM
Plus, join us on Saturday, October 25, learn about dramatic weather events like lightening, hurricanes and storms straight from an expert. Greg Bennett, Spectrum News 13 Meteorologist, will share his knowledge and conduct some exciting experiments of his own. Understand the elements of a storm, S.L.I.M. (Shear, Lift, Instability, and Moisture), and how they come together and produce an explosive reaction. Catch Greg in Journey To Mars at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
