Manatee Education Day brings you up close to the biology and fun facts about the gentle residents of our coastal waters. Learn how manatees depend on healthy seagrass, clean waterways, and protected spaces including the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

During this event, you’ll engage in hands-on learning, dive into manatee trivia and interactive challenges, and discover practical ways to steward local wildlife.

Step onto our manatee observation deck for a chance to spot manatees in their natural habitat. Nature writes the schedule, so sightings aren’t guaranteed, but the experience is always is memorable.
