The Brevard Zoo is a great way to spend the day for the whole family. While packed with experiences and things to see, this wheelchair-accessible zoo is equipped with lifts and elevators to allow everyone to experience the zoo's unique features like the treetop walkway in Rain Forest Revealed, and the EZ Launch Accessible Transfer System that makes kayaking in the Wetlands an accessible activity everyone can enjoy. Wheelchair rentals and electric conveyance vehicles are available fore rental at the zoo on a first-come first-serve basis. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is an accessible attraction that has something for everyone. Check out their website to learn about wheelchair and Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) rental during your visit. Then enjoy wheelchair ramps, large bathrooms, and plenty of space to cool off. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is a great option for everyone!
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has partnered with The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) to become a Certified Autism Center and has created a detailed Sensory Guide to use as a planning tool with insight on how each attraction may affect each of the five senses. Guests with auditory sensitivity may request noise reduction earphones at the Information center on a first come, first serve basis and must be returned at the end of the visit. Guests with visual disabilities may attend a Day-Of Orientation at the Information center. Closed captioning is available for presentations by request and American Sign Language interpreters are available with two-week advance notice. The KSC SmartGuide is a free app available in multiple languages with audio, facts, photos, and video and is accessible for guests with hearing impairments. Space Coast Field of Dreams | West Melbourne
The Space Coast Field of Dreams is a one-of-a-kind all access sports park located in West Melbourne. This incredible spot features accessible baseball & soccer fields, basketball court, mini golf course and a playground that ALL children and their parents can enjoy. All are equipped with soft rubber surfaces, water fountains, infinity sidewalks and wide entrances and exits. Athletic areas also feature large dugouts with misters. The anchor of the Space Coast Field of Dreams is a covered multi-purpose area with cushioned flooring, tables and seating, as well as a concession stand. Come play for the afternoon or rent a pavilion for a special gathering!

With miles and miles of paved paths, a stroll in the park is an incredible Space Coast experience.
Mikey Goodwin Playground at James H. Nance Park | Indialantic
The design of this newly constructed plagrounds meets & exceeds current ADA Standards for Accessible Design, which include technical requirements for play areas. Considerations include accessible routes, groundcover materials, ramps, wheelchair parking areas, handrails, and overhead clearance. The community of Indialantic strove to make this playground accessible to as many as possible. All safety surfacing is wheelchair-accessible and will include ramping so that children can play with elevated components. It is also be built with "parallel play" features which allow kids of differing ages, physical abilities, and cognitive abilities to play along side each other. Additionally, there is a communication board to assist children with limited language skills express themselves.
