Blue Heron Wetlands

Blue Heron Wetlands is a popular spot for bird watching and photography. As part of the Great Florida Birding Trail, the wetland is open to the public, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Here you will see a variety of birds including the great and little blue herons, purple gallinules, American bitterns and least bitterns. If you would like to visit on the weekend, please call the Blue Heron Water Reclamation Facility to make an appointment.
