It’s a popular site for nature walks and outdoor community events that happen throughout the year. Stroll along the 3,000 foot (910 m) elevated boardwalk that gently winds up and through a natural Florida hammock, containing native plant species and small animals. The boardwalk provides a perch for observing the extraordinary surrounding habitat without getting your feet wet or dirty. It’s an easy walk that’s fully wheelchair accessible. Be sure to stop by the onsite nature center to learn more about the native wildlife.
