You’ve lounged at our beautiful beaches, you’ve explored our attractions and wildlife experiences, you’ve taken in all the arts and culture, or maybe you’ve had a great time at one of our exciting events, and now it’s time to chill. Here are some ways to make the best of the last day of your Space Coast weekend.

Start with Brunch

What’s better than sleeping in without a care in the world? Rolling out of bed and grabbing brunch. There are plenty of lip-smacking, classy, and boozy brunch spots here on the Space Coast. They are perfect for those of you starting your Sunday off just a little later. There’s something for everyone no matter what you’re craving.

When you’re cruising on US-1, pull into Playalinda Brewing Company’s Brix Project. This is the perfect brewery for Sunday Funday. A large comfortable indoor area with plenty of bar seating and a shaded outdoor eating area make this a great spot for groups big and small. “Endless” mimosas, a diverse draft beer menu, and hand-crafted cocktails will make sure everyone in your crew can find a drink they love. They even have a non-alcoholic, homemade root beer, so non-drinkers and younger guests aren’t left out of the brewery experience. Dog and kid-friendly, great staff, and amazing food make this brewery a must-try.

If you want a more upscale option, and your group can’t decide on what type of meal to go for, try Frigates in Melbourne. This buffet offers traditional breakfast, an omelet station, soups and salads, a pasta bar, raw bar, sushi, all-you-can-eat crab legs, oysters, and tons more seafood. Frigates has servers at their stations, to help you compile the perfect brunch. This former gas station has the perfect atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon hang. Great food, a nice rotating draft menu, delicious cocktails, chill outdoor seating, and more make this a can’t-miss Cocoa Beach spot. If you plan to hit happy hour at Fishlips, you’re bound to catch at least one of the incredible cruise ships that call the Space Coast home. Whether you’re relaxing indoors for the game or outdoors taking in great views of the port, Fishlips has you covered. With an expansive menu, cocktails and drafts, beer buckets, and more, there’s enough here to keep you busy all afternoon. If you’re feeling adventurous though, you can explore all of Fishlip’s neighbors in The Cove at Port Canaveral for an impromptu tiki-bar crawl.

The City of Cape Canaveral is home to the Space Coast’s newest & only distillery, Oceanside. This hidden gem off Central Boulevard is well worth discovering. Oceanside Distillery is conveniently located for anyone relaxing in Cocoa Beach or waiting for a cruise. Family-owned and operated, you can sample Fresh-From-Florida craft liquor, get handmade cocktails, and even do a distillery tour and learn the history and future of what’s sure to be the Space Coast’s next great hot spot. They also offer a small menu of appetizers, don’t sleep on the fish dip!

View artistry at its finest as you take a stroll and enjoy historic buildings and mural-lined streets. It is easy to find plenty of food and drink options while you’re hunting down all that amazing art.
