The US Air Force Thunderbirds are rumored to debut a new routine for the first time in many years. On top of that, 4 of the warbirds from our very own Valiant Warbird Museum are scheduled to delight audiences!
The Cocoa Beach Air Show will span 2 fun-filled days of aerial acrobatics on our favorite beach, but what do you do after the engines have cooled and the pelicans have replaced the planes in the sky? Here are some ideas we think you’ll love!
Stop by the Valiant Warbird Museum
The Cocoa Beach Air Show is going to be an amazing opportunity to show your kids something amazing. Keep that momentum going by heading north to the Valiant Warbird Museum in Titusville. Four of the museum’s historic warbirds will be performing in the Air Show, but, you can see more than 50 other warbirds from Post-WWI to modern-day aircraft on display. It’s an amazing supplement to the Cocoa Beach Air Show for kids and aviation-enthusiasts of all ages.
Test Your Limits at Cocoa Beach Aerial Adventure
Cocoa Beach Aerial Adventure is a great way for your family to fly without wings after the Air Show. Traverse high-flying ropes courses, zip lines, and obstacles as you soak up the sun on what will be a beautiful day in Cocoa Beach!
Take Flight In Cocoa Beach
Experience the Space Coast like the Air Force Thunderbird Pilots when you book a helicopter tour in Cocoa Beach! Beachside Helicopters and Florida Air Tours offer amazing aerial tours of Cocoa Beach and The Kennedy Space Center, and it’s a great way to extend your Cocoa Beach Air Show vacation. Choose a helicopter or bi-plane tour and even select acrobatic options so you too can barrel roll over the beach!
Why Stop at the Sky?
Everything is possible on the Space Coast. When we fly, we ask why not launch too! Stop by the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to take your love of flight to the stratosphere and beyond as you learn about the Space Program’s past, present and future. Bus tours to the Apollo/Saturn V have resumed and Planet Play is open to the public! If you visited the Complex in 2020, this is the perfect time to cash in on your free return ticket!
Relax on the Beach
When in Cocoa Beach, do as the locals do! Exploring Cocoa Beach is fun even if there isn’t a fleet of aircraft flying overhead. From the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier to the Beaches of Patrick Air Force base and beyond, there’s a beach for every personality. Find yours here! Are you instead looking for shore-side seclusion after the air show? Check out our favorite uncrowded beaches. Forget something? Head over to Ron Jon Surf Shop, Cocoa Beach Surf Company, and Beachwave Beachware for all your beach-day needs and rentals!
