Cocoa Village Playhouse

The magnificent Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse first opened its door on August 18, 1924, as a theatre featuring the eras’ popular silent movies. Throughout the years the theater has changed the variety of performances from screen movies to musicals to Broadway plays. Known to all as ‘Broadway on Brevard’, local volunteers and staff provide the talent that preserves and maintains the highest professional quality of arts in the country. While waiting for the show to start, plan to come a little early and visit one of the area restaurants or simply take a stroll through the town visiting all the unique stores or even a romantic walk on the riverfront.
