Saturdays and Sundays in October
Get those costumes out early and enjoy Halloween all month long at the Brevard Zoo. Trick or treat at treat stations placed throughout the zoo, marvel at Halloween-themed decorations, and snap the perfect spooky photos. Enjoy the eerie ambiance with music by DJ Eric Deniro and spook-tacular performances that will leave you thrilled. Participate in engaging activities and, of course, visit your favorite Zoo animals dressed in your Halloween best!
Beware the Night at Brevard Zoo | Viera
Select Nights in September and October | 7 – 10 PM
See the Zoo transform into a spooky playground filled with eerie lights, mysterious sounds, and hauntingly fun surprises. Stroll through dimly lit pathways lined with glowing jack-o-lanterns, foggy forests, and larger-than-life displays. This event is family-friendly and intended for all ages.
River’s Revenge at Brevard Zoo | Viera
Every Friday and Saturday in October | 7-10 pm
Venture through the twisted trails of a dark forest and face the ghastly creatures lurking within. This optional experience is included as part of your Beware the Night ticket purchase on these nights and is recommended for ages 10 and up.

41st Annual NKFF Rich Salick Pro/Am Surf Fest | Cocoa Beach

The National Kidney Foundation of Florida Surf Festival is an entertainment extravaganza that combines world class surfing competition and beach activities with food, drink, and music. All proceeds from the event go to the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, a 501(c)(3) public charity to support programs in patient services, research, public and professional education. The 41st Anniversary of the Surf Fest will be celebrated with a kickoff concert on Saturday, October 11th, the renowned “Taste of Brevard” Gala on Sunday evening, and world class pro and amateur surfing throughout the weekend. The NKF of Florida is proud to say that 84 cents of every dollar raised by the foundation goes directly to patient programs and services. The NKFF is also proud to be a 4-star ranked charity on Charity Navigator, the highest possible ranking on this prestigious charity accountability site.

Come if you dare, and take the walk through our Haunted Jail Trail in the backwoods of the Brevard County Jail. This twisted trail of incarcerated lost souls will stalk you as you scurry through. Cocoa Beach HIT Songwriter Festival | Cocoa Beach

Downtown Cocoa Beach comes alive October 16–18 for a FREE weekend of hit songwriters, live music across six venues, Friday Fest, and a Saturday street party bringing a little Nashville to the beach.
45th Annual Historic Cocoa Village Fall art and Craft Fair | Cocoa Village

The historic village becomes one of Florida’s largest outdoor handmade markets, lined with 200+ fine artists and crafters displaying their handmade pieces. Whether a stunning oil painting or a unique pair of wire wrapped earrings, there’s something for everyone in Cocoa Village!

Space Coast Brew Fest | Titusville

North Brevard Rotary Club presents the 4th Annual Space Coast Brew Fest! All proceeds go to North Brevard Rotary to support the many ongoing and new charities supported throughout the community. More than 30 breweries are anticipated, plus select vendors, food trucks, and musical acts!

The Space Coast State Fair is Brevard’s largest and most popular annual family event. The event features 40 acres of fun with 100 state fair rides, games, food stands, free shows and much more. The gate admission includes all the shows inside the fair but no rides. The fair offers an unlimited rides armband every day and night – pay just $25 (Tuesdays – Thursdays) or $30 (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) and all the rides and shows are included from open to close. Individual ride tickets are also available.
Jazzoo | Melbourne

Don’t miss the wildest ALL-INCLUSIVE event of the year! Our annual music festival is back with music from all genres playing across six stages; food from 30 restaurants, caterers, and food trucks; full open bars; and a sports bar. Tickets are all-inclusive: ALL the music, ALL the beverages, ALL the food, all night long! Guests must be age 21+ with a valid ID. Jazzoo is a rain-or-shine event and tickets are non-refundable.
