Klondike Beach- Canaveral National Seashore

As part of Canaveral National Seashore, Klondike Beach is just north of Playalinda Beach at the northern tip of Florida’s Space Coast. It’s only accessible by foot or by bike from parking area 13, and you will need to obtain a backcountry permit from the entrance station. Keep in mind that this is a 13-mile walk and can be strenuous due to the slope of the beach and soft sand. This trail does close due to seasonal conditions and other factors, and it’s best to call ahead to verify its status. There is a vehicle entrance fee at Canaveral National Seashore for automobiles, motorcycles and commercial tour vehicles. Winter hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; summer hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
