When stepping away from the 72 miles of beaches, visitors will find an eclectic collection of shopping choices.

Looming large with shopping on the Space Coast is Ron Jon Surf Shop, the world’s largest surf shop that visitors have to see to believe. Other surf shops dot the coast including Cocoa Beach Surf Company in Cocoa Beach and Longboard House on Melbourne Beaches, and the largest beach retailer on the Space Coast, BeachWave Beachwear.

The Space Coast boasts three Historic Downtown Areas located in Titusville, Cocoa Village, and Melbourne. All of these districts are great destinations for dining, shopping for gifts and antiques, catching a play, or just taking an afternoon stroll. These Main Street areas regularly host free events for an added layer of fun.

Looking for a different kind of buried treasure? The Dinosaur Store in Cocoa Beach showcases prehistoric history and culture and houses one of the most incredible collections of fossils and minerals in the world, including authentic shark teeth, dinosaur eggs, meteorites and amber specimens.

Merritt Square Mall on Merritt Island and the Melbourne Square Mall in Melbourne provide traditional shopping mall venues. The Avenue Viera is an open-air pedestrian friendly shopping destination featuring premier national retailers, select local merchants and specialty restaurants. For visitors in touch with their inner artists, there are art galleries in the downtown areas and in Eau Gallie Arts District.
