Green Gables Historic Home Open House Saturdays

Green Gables remains a living history museum situated on over 1 acre of green space on the Indian River Lagoon and serves as a community outreach center for you to enjoy.

The next stage begins the rehabilitation of this landmark over time, transforming her to her former grandeur. The 127-year-old historic home remains “Melbourne’s Bridge to the Past”. The Wells family vision and generosity brought many firsts to the area for Melbourne.

We invite you to come and visit Green Gables and learn more about the architecture, the family, and with your help, our plans for the future of Green Gables. Tours are $10; Children 12 and under are free.
