Brevard County Sherriff Wayne Ivey and America's Top Police Dog Junny are hosting their annual 4th of July Parade on Merritt Island!

This year’s parade will stroll along the streets of Merritt Island with the float and parade participants starting at Merritt Island High School and then heading South on Courtenay Parkway to turn East onto Merritt Avenue with the parade ending at Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School.

If this route sounds familiar, it’s the same route as the annual Merritt Island Christmas Parade so get there early to claim your favorite viewing spot and set up your flags and patriotic gear!! To make things even better, once the parade has ended, our great partners just around the corner at the Veterans Memorial Center will host food trucks and all access admission to the Veteran’s Museum, so bring the kids and get ready for some great red, white, and blue fun!!

This is going to be a great parade as everyone is excited about lining the street to celebrate our nation’s Independence.
