Join an amateur astronomer from American Space Museum on Cocoa Beach east of Beachside Hotel to see rising over the Atlantic Ocean the Full Beaver Moon of November, because of the Native Americans would set their beaver traps before the water would begin to freeze over. There will be a talk on moon lore and constellations on the beach, near the entrance east of the hotel. After the moon rise, walk over to the grassy event area at Beachside for Moon Gazing beside the Lazy River.

See the rings of Saturn, the moons of Jupiter, craters on the Moon and even the ice caps of Mars as the American Space Museum brings you a stargazing event being hosted by Beachside Hotel & Suites.

Amateur astronomers from the Titusville "spaceworkers" museum will set up telescopes and have video monitors attached to safely distance and provide an environment to show the celestial wonders of the early evening. The stargazers will point out the constellations with green lasers, and recount stories in the stars that have been told for centuries. The American Space Museum is a proud, Brevard County non-profit that preserves the Birth of the American Space Age and ignites the future generation of space workers. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled. Be sure to call: 321-783-2221
