DESCRIPTION:Your Space Coast Symphony Orchestra presents one of the most beloved American musicals of all time\, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel. This iconic work celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2025. Featuring unforgettable songs including “If I Loved You” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone\,” this timeless Broadway classic has been praised for its poignant storyline\, memorable characters\, and unforgettable score. Rarely heard in its original full-scale orchestration\, SCSO’s concert production\, with limited theatrical elements\, showcases the music above all else. Set in a seaside town in Maine\, Carousel follows the love story of Billy Bigelow\, a handsome but troubled carousel barker\, and Julie Jordan\, a young mill worker. It is the enduring tale of love\, redemption\, and the struggle to find our place in the world. \nTickets are $35 in advance for adults\, available through the orchestra website at SpaceCoastSymphony.org or at Marine Bank & Trust in Suntree. Tickets at the door are $40. Concertgoers aged 18 and under or with a college ID are admitted free to every SCSO concert. In keeping with their mission\, the symphony provides a unique Symphony for Everyone ticketing program\, a “pay-what-you-can” option designed to provide substantially discounted admission to any Space Coast Symphony concert.

DESCRIPTION:The event features an Easter Egg Hunt in EGAD with more than 6000 eggs filled with candy\, stickers\, and prize tickets for items such as skateboards and boogie boards! Three age-based egg hunts begin around 4:30 PM\, and a special surprise is planned for all participants. Families are encouraged to arrive early to register and bring an egg basket for each child. \nIn addition to the egg hunt\, families can enjoy hotdogs\, bounce houses\, face painting\, and other activities throughout the afternoon. Children who bring a skateboard\, scooter\, or bicycle can use The Hub pump track and halfpipe. A separate onsite waiver is required for these activities and helmets must be worn. \nThe event is free. Each attendee is asked to register and complete the waiver online.

To further this mission\, the Field Manor Foundation continues the Field family tradition to host a Founders’ Day celebration every spring.\nThis riverfront event was first celebrated on March 21\, 1868\, when the Field family arrived on the shores of Merritt Island and continues this year with the Field Manor Foundation’s 11th Annual Founders’ Day Fundraiser on Saturday\, April 4th\, from 11am-4pm.\nCentral Florida favorites’ HOT PINK will join us to entertain with live music; local guest food trucks will offer a variety of sweet and savory food options; the vendor market will showcase an array of locally grown and hand-made products from popular vendors\, and our beer sponsor Bugnutty Brewing Co. will be pouring their local brews all day.
