The Space Coast’s Fall Event Preview

Fall into autumn with one of these special events

Do you smell that? The sweet smell of pumpkin spice signaling the up and coming change of season. Oh yes, that’s right. Pumpkin spice hits coffee shops sooner than you think which means cooler, glorious weather is on the horizon. There is just something about the fall and choosing to spend time here on the Space Coast during this season has its benefits.

Besides near-perfect weather year-round, the fall months allow you to enjoy a refreshing breeze while spending the day at the beach without feeling like you’ll melt and there are plenty of fun special events planned to take advantage of the cooler weather. Here is a preview of some of the fun things planned for the fall:

Running Events

Throughout the fall months, you can enjoy numerous running events that are happening most weekends and even some throughout the week. With gorgeous landscapes throughout the area, whichever running event you choose, not only will the weather be on point, but you’ll get a beautiful view as you head to the finish line. So dress up like “I Dream of Jeannie” when you run the Cocoa Beach Half Marathon, or make a “Big Bang” with your race time at the long-standing Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon, or better yet, run back in time as you race through historic and iconic rocket launch complexes in support of the 150-year old Cape Canaveral Lighthouse.
