Secret Places for Art & Inspiration on the Space Coast

Take a look around. What do you see? Are you noticing the changing of seasons? Have you caught a sunrise or sunset lately? It’s easy to miss the tiny details that add so much beauty in the world that we are in, so sometimes you truly have to stop and smell the roses in order to let your imagination run wild.
And getting outside of your normal day-to-day routine is what allows you to do just that. All along Florida’s Space Coast are secret spots tucked away where you can enjoy the canvas of someone’s imagination that literally adds color to the already beautiful landscape that locals and visitors all over the world will tell you make this one of the best places to visit.

Eau Gallie Arts District

From murals to galleries, the streets are lined with art and creativity and each corner is a place to stop and breath in inspiration. In 2017, the district added over 20 new murals to their collection from both local and nationally known artists. There’s definitely no shortage of art to view here.
Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts

Stop in for a tour of art from all over the world. You’ll be intrigued and educated as you discover textiles and embroidery, both visual and wearable, contemporary art. New exhibits make their debut every couple of months, keeping it fresh and inspiring.
Intracoastal Brewing Company

Intracoastal Brewing Company takes art to a whole new level with a rotating cycle of quality and creatively crafted beer selections. The flavors here are unique and unlike anything you’ve tasted before. Plus, this brewery is located in the heart of the Eau Gallie Arts District and has a patio scene sure to inspire.
City of Cocoa and Cocoa Village Community Arts
1 Oleander Street, Cocoa
The city of Cocoa has brought some color back into its city with one-of-a-kind designs displayed on several traffic signal boxes that you can drive around and tour. Once you’re done, head over to Cocoa Village, grab a coffee or ice cream, and look for the beautifully painted park benches. As you sit, don’t be surprised if you start dreaming again.
The Downtown Art Gallery

Displaying various art mediums from 14 different artists, from photography to sculpture and acrylic to watercolor, The Downtown Art Gallery combines five unique showrooms for a well-rounded experience. This is a great place to take a unique piece of art home with you too.
These are just a few of the many places to get inspired here on the Space Coast, but inspiration is not just limited to storefronts and park benches. The weather here allows for plenty of outdoor activities that can spark creativity and allow you to dream again.
