Santa Claus is Coming to Town … on a Surfboard!
Who needs sugar plum fairies when you can have Surfing Santas? That’s right, the fast-approaching holiday season means it’s almost time for Cocoa Beach’s infamous annual event, which includes hundreds of Santas taking to the beach to shred some waves before embarking on a long night of delivering toys to all of the good little boys and girls.
The 8th Annual Surfing Santas event kicks off with the Black Friday Surf-In on Friday, November 25, with a sight you won’t find anywhere but Florida’s Space Coast: a professional surfing Santa ushering in the holidays via surfboard. This wildly popular Cocoa Beach tradition is guaranteed to deliver a giant dose of holiday cheer for your entire family.
But nothing can beat the main event on December 24. If you have yet to witness hundreds of Santas coming together to ride the waves, you haven’t truly lived. After all, there’s a reason this event has grown exponentially since the Santas’ inaugural surf in 2009.
Surfing Santa event details:
Time: 8 a.m.
Date: Saturday, December 24, 2016
