Return Visitor Experiences in Cocoa Beach

Same vacation spot, new experiences.

It’s time to get away, and you’re ready to start planning your next vacation! And every time you think about where to go next, you keep coming back to the idea of heading back to Cocoa Beach. This town has been a vacationing spot since the space industry kicked off, and over the last 50 years, the appeal of this little town has spanned the globe.

Whether this is your second, third, or fourth time coming back or even if Cocoa Beach is an annual vacation spot for you, there is always something new to experience to help take your vacation to the next level. Check out some of these ideas that will make you feel like you’re visiting for the first time.

Try something new

It’s obvious that hitting the beach when visiting is going to happen, but what about experiencing the beach a different way? How about getting a bird’s eye view of the famous coastline while parasailing with Cocoa Beach Parasail. Or better yet, see why this beach is a world famous surfing spot by hanging ten yourself with some surf lessons.

Explore the outer limits of Cocoa Beach

As much as Cocoa Beach has to offer, there are five day trips from Cocoa Beach that are a quick and easy drive if you’re willing to explore what’s just outside the town. Take a walk on the wild side or zipline through the “Space Coast Jungle” by heading over to the Brevard Zoo and Treetop Trek. Or discover more than outer space by walking the historic streets of Cocoa Village and make a day out of it where shopping and eating “around the world” can give you an experience you’ve never had before.

Indulge your inner foodie

You already know your favorite go-to spots in Cocoa Beach, but continue to indulge yourself by trying some new places to channel your inner foodie. Not sure where to go? Check out Jazzy’s Mainly Lobster for some authentic New England style fare where the north and south get along just fine. Or take in a Cocoa Beach sunset looking west while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at Rikki Tiki Tavern. And for those of you are health food junkies, you’ll want to try Café Surfinista, where you can sample an organic acai bowl while relaxing in a laid-back Zen environment.

Get the inside scoop

Since you’ve been here before, you know that people flock from all over the world to catch an up-close glimpse of one the rockets launches, or they are getting ready to launch from the shore to head to another tropical paradise on one of the many cruise ships that sail from Port Canaveral.

How do you catch a glimpse of both of those worlds? Head to Jetty Park and enjoy a day at the beach while taking in both those sights. Knowing the rocket launch and the cruise ship schedule will help, but should you end up missing it for any reason, you’ll still had a great day at the beach.
