Food Festivals You Can’t Miss on the Space Coast

Food Lovers Unite!

Calling all foodies! Now is the best time to start thinking about a getaway! One of the many reasons to visit Florida’s Space Coast is not only because it’s a beautiful place with near perfect weather and pristine beaches, but this time of the year, outdoor events and festivals are popping up everywhere. There is always something for everyone of any age to enjoy and have some fun.

Whether you have a whole week to spend or only have time for a weekend adventure, here are some of the “can’t miss” events happening on the Space Coast that will make your spring season one to remember.

Zonta Chocolate Festival

Where: Melbourne Auditorium - 625 E. Hibiscus Boulevard, Melbourne
When: March 1, 2020
Time: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Price: $25-$40

What to expect: The Zonta Club of Melbourne is hosting its Annual Chocolate Festival benefiting local scholarship programs, community service projects, and the local and international fight against Human Trafficking and Violence Against Women. You’ll enjoy samples of chocolate confections, cakes, and desserts satisfying every sweet tooth, all for a great cause.

Space Coast Seafood and Music Fest

Where: Space Coast Daily Park – 6091 Stadium Parkway, Viera
When: March 7-10, 2020
Time: Varies
Price: 8-$10 Festival Tickets; $29-$79.50 Concert Tickets

What to expect: This family-friendly event is jammed packed with seafood, arts and crafts, live music, a pirate festival and parade, a kids’ zone, and so much more. This is easily a great way to spend a long weekend getaway.

Where: Wickham Park – 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne
When: March 14, 2020 - Postponed
Time: Varies
Price: $5 – Adults, $2 – Children 5-12, Free – Children under 5

What to expect: If you are wanting a little culture added to your beach vacation, then you’ll want to attend Indiafest. Come prepared to enjoy traditional Indian cuisine, fashion shows, music, arts and crafts, and much more. Not only will you get to experience an event that locals eagerly await, you’ll go home with new perspective on how expanding your cultural horizons is not only educational, but fun.

18th Annual Grant BBQ Fest

Where: Grant Community Center – 4580 1st Street, Grant
When: April 3-5, 2020 - Cancelled
Time: Varies
Price: Free

What to expect: Come check out the quaint town on Grant as you enjoy market place crafts, live entertainment, and some good ol’ Southern-style barbecue. Save lots of room in your stomach for the barbecue contest where you get to taste and choose which is the best of the best.

6th Annual Brewmasters Invitational Beer Fest

Where: Cruise Terminal 1 – 9050 Discovery Place, Cape Canaveral
When: April 4, 2020
Time: 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Price: $10 - $60

What to expect: This festival is where you want to be if you are looking to sample craft (and some not-so-craft) beers from over 50 breweries all over the world. With live music, local artists, food trucks, outdoor games, and so much more, this event is a great way to kickoff your spring getaway in a fun and entertaining way.

4th Annual Cocoa Beach Uncorked

Where: Alan Shepard Park – 4400 Ocean Beach Boulevard, Cocoa Beach
When: April 25-26, 2020 - Rescheduled to July 11-12, 2020
Time: VIP: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.; General Admission: 1p.m. - 4 p.m.
Price: $65 – $85

What to expect: What do you get when you blend local chef rock stars with national brand partners offering tastes and sips to please every palate? The answer is simply the 3rd Annual Cocoa Beach Uncorked. This two-day event, touted as the hippest beachfront gastronomic event to launch on Florida’s Space Coast, is your ticket to unwind as you celebrate good food, good wine, and good brews from local, national, and international vendors.
