BACKWATER! @backwaterflorida This is one of our FAVORITE SPOTS- from the fun experience of making your own pancakes on the griddle table to the amazingly unique dishes they have. Something we love about backwater is that I am lactose intolerant. Not only do they have vegan pancakes, but they have a TON of menu items without dairy. They always have a seasonal pancake batter- they have gluten free, whole wheat, buttermilk, and even a color kit of pancake batter! So my boyfriend and I both have many options. They also now serve nitro cold brew coffee on tap from @wickedpineapplefl @coldtapcoffee !! The staff is SO nice and the owner is awesome. We see the same faces working and you can tell the love where they work. When we first visited, we immediately noticed the unique decor and the inviting atmosphere. We also both say how it’s one of those places that you find randomly on vacation and become obsessed (except we live by it). If you haven’t visited you MUST try it out. Pro tip- they don’t take reservations, so if you want a griddle top, go early or at an odd time :) Location- DT Melbourne DAYS/times- 7 days!
