Enjoy Flavor on the Florida’s Space Coast

Enjoy Flavor on the Florida’s Space Coast

Get your foodie on!

Attention foodies and all those who enjoy flavorful and tasty creations! Florida Today is hosting its 4th Annual Flavor on the Space Coast event where the whole month of October is dedicated to bringing eclectic, diverse, and mouth-watering dishes at 18 different host restaurants throughout the whole area. What’s better than food, fun, and festivities to help make this October fall-proof? This event makes for a great excuse to plan a getaway here, where you can not only enjoy a “foodie tour” but also a beautiful backdrop that people flock to from all over the world to enjoy.

How do you take advantage of this month-long event and hit up as many of these places while also enjoying other area attractions and if you’re lucky, a rocket launch? By mapping out a location-themed day, you could easily enjoy shopping, time at the beach, or a day at Brevard Zoo and finish each day with a nice meal from one of the participating restaurants. Still need some help planning for a fun, festive, foodie tour? Check out a few ideas here:

Shopping always works up an appetite

Enjoy the first part of the day shopping in Downtown Melbourne, where boutiques and other unique shops along with wall mural art gets you ready to feast on a meal from Matt’s Casbah or The Dove III.

Ace a hole in one

Whether you play a round of golf or enjoy a game of tennis, start and end your day at La Cita Golf and Country Club. You can end your day a winner at the club’s restaurant, dining on this menu featured for Flavor on the Space Coast.

Beach it up

Enjoy a pleasant day at the beach, whether reading a good book or just soaking up some sun to keep your tan alive a little bit longer. Once you’re done, head over to either Pompano Grill or The Fat Snook if you want to stay closer to Cocoa Beach or peruse down south to Ocean 302, TrendKitchen, or Djon’s for a more eclectic, artsy vibe.

The 18 restaurants participating have stepped up and challenged the chefs representing these dining establishments to create some of the most awe-inspiring and delectable three-course meals. Is your mouth watering yet? No? Well take a look at the menus featured in this year’s month-long event and see how quickly that changes.
