If you are looking for an opportunity to support local efforts all while enjoying fresh seafood and live entertainment, then you’ll want to check out the 53rd annual Seafood Festival in Grant, one of the Space Coast’s quaint towns outside of the Palm Bay area. No matter your preference in how you get out on the water, there is something for everyone. Take the family out for a fun day on the boat or see if you catch the big one for the day with a fishing charter out of Port Canaveral. This family-friendly event happening March 7-10, 2019 in Viera, is jammed packed with seafood, arts and crafts, live music like Travis Tritt and Charlie Daniels Band, a pirate festival and parade, a kids’ zone, and so much more. This is easily a great way to spend a long weekend getaway.
Take a ride on the wild side with an outdoor excursion on an airboat and see native wildlife up close. Or instead of gliding across the water, take a stroll through Brevard Zoo, a favorite spot for over 20 years. If you are wanting a little culture added to your beach vacation, then plan to visit between March 9-10, 2019, and attend the Indiafest. Come prepared to enjoy traditional Indian cuisine, fashion shows, music, arts and crafts, and much more. Not only will you get to experience an event that locals eagerly await, you’ll go home with new perspective on how expanding your cultural horizons is not only educational but fun.
Come and discover what it would be like to live on and explore Mars by spending the day at Kennedy Space Center and signing up for the Astronaut Training Experience. Reach for the stars and live like an astronaut for the day and make memories that last a lifetime.
Calling all you surfers and those who enjoy the beach lifestyle. The Beach ‘N Boards fest put on by Ron Jon’s is the nation’s premiere active lifestyle event and is happening March 14-17, 2019. There will be live music and pretty much any and every type of boarding sport at this event. This is a great event for all ages and all interests and another great reason to visit the Space Coast this March.
10. Ice Cream

11. Warbird Air Show
For those of you who like history and enjoy seeing it come to life, you’ll want to check out the 42nd Annual Space Coast Warbird Airshow taking place March 15-17, 2019. This is a great event to see planes do gravity-defying stunts while putting on a massive fireworks display.
No matter how much time you have to be able to get away this March, hopping on a cruise for a quick trip or a week-long escape to paradise is easy as 3-2-1. With Port Canaveral being so close to Orlando, you have easy access to sail away to a tropical vacation. Check out the cruise package deals to make a visit in March even more appealing.
Here is another opportunity to experience history, both current and former, in real life. This show includes performers soaring across the airfield in front of you and also static aircraft displays over the two-day event. You will also get to witness the F-35 Lightning II Demo Team, as well as a photo pit. Just sneaking in to March, this show takes place March 30-31, 2019.
