The Great Florida Air Show 2021

Experience the Great Florida Air Show on the Space Coast

The Great Florida Air Show presented by Northrup Grumman is scheduled for Saturday, May 15th and Sunday, May 16th, 2021 at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB). Gates open at 8:00am, and you'll want to get there before 9 am to find the best FREE parking spot, relax, and enjoy your day at the air show. See the U.S. Navy Blue Angels celebrate their 75th Anniversary as they take off in their brand new aircraft, the F-18 Super Hornet, along with an amazing lineup of military jets and outstanding performers. But, that's not all. This year's Great Florida Air Show  is under new management and being produced by The Air Show Network, so while you'll have an amazing time watching the show above, there will also be immersive, interactive exhibits and static displays set up on the ground to amplify your air show experience. This event is being sold at a limited capacity, so don’t miss your chance to see one of the greatest shows on the Space Coast!

Ticket Information

The Great Florida Air Show is a limited ticket event, and tickets MUST be purchased online. Tickets for VIP Flight Line Club are the best seats in the house and will sell out, make sure you purchase your tickets soon, so you can pick your seats and have the best experience possible. 

General and upgraded tickets for premium seating are available for purchase on the Great Florida Air Show website. Premium seating is located along the flight line and affords you in-and-out privileges so you can explore the amazing ground displays, grab some snacks and know that your seats will be waiting for you when you come return. Concessions are available for purchase while in the Premium Boxes. VIP Flight Line ticket holders will enjoy a private table for 4, a delicious catered lunch, unlimited soft drinks and water, in-and-out access, and much more! How to Get to and Where To Park in Melbourne for the Great Florida Air Show

Air Show Pro Tip: Arrive Early - before 9am! 
The Great Florida Air Show gates open at 8 am. To make sure you have a leisurely morning and time to park, find your seats, and experience all the incredible ground displays you'll want to arrive as early as possible. 

General Admission Parking for the Great Florida Air Show Map

New this year, general parking for air show attendees is FREE on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking attendants will be on-site directing traffic to designated parking areas. Upgraded parking passes are also available for purchase. See these ticketing options to learn more. Whichever parking option is best for you, we recommend arriving early before 9am.

Several roads and intersections around the Melbourne Orlando International Airport are under construction.  Babcock Road, most notably, has been reduced to two lanes. Please drive with caution and patience as you arrive at and leave The Great Florida Air Show.

How to Get Around Melbourne on the Space Coast 

Melbourne is a very easy city to get around with easy access to and from Highway 192, US 1, and I-95 and offers abundant, free parking options. If you are flying into the Melbourne Orlando International Airport, rental cars are available. The Great Florida Air Show will draw many spectators! Plan some extra time this weekend to account for traffic.

Public transportation options include Route 21 from the Airport to Downtown Melbourne and Route 29 from the Airport to Viera and attractions like The Brevard Zoo and the Viera Avenues.

Safety for Spectators 

The Air Show has taken enhanced health and safety measures for guests, participants, volunteers and staff. You must follow all instructions posted at the air show. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness or death. MASKS ARE REQUIRED while transiting, getting food, using the restroom or any other activity. Masks are optional when seated and separated from others by at least 6 feet. This is a CASHLESS EVENT, so bring a credit card or pre-paid debit card with you.
