Family Friendly

Florida’s Space Coast is a proud family-friendly destination. When National Geographic released their Top 24 Destinations on the Rise for 2021, the Space Coast was listed as one of the Amazing Family Journeys alongside locations in Canada, England and more. Featuring educational and enriching attractions and environments like the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Brevard Zoo, the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and the Indian River Lagoon, it’s not hard to understand why the Space Coast received this honor. See our press release for more information.

Convenient Travel

couple driving in Cocoa Beach

The Space Coast is Orlando’s closest beach. We enjoy convenient access from Central Florida theme parks and attractions. Located 45 minutes east of Orlando International Airport (MCO) on the Beachline, home to Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB), and 45 minutes from Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) the Space Coast is easy to get to for visitors arriving from anywhere in the world. The Space Coast is also Orlando’s Port and the nearest option for cruising in the Atlantic. Port Canaveral, the world’s 2nd busiest cruise port for multi-day embarkation, is the port-of-call for ships from Carnival, Disney Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean International, and Norwegian Cruise Line

Exploring Space

Rocket Launching from Kennedy Space Center

Florida’s Space Coast is the #1 Launch Spot in the World. Make sure to check our Space Coast Launches site to see if a launch attempt is scheduled while your clients are in-market. They’ll never forget their first launch, or the person who helped them see it! While we can never promise a launch will actually blast off when scheduled, we can promise a great amount of space-related locations and attractions to satisfy space junkies of every age!

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers a 50% discount on their regular admission to Travel Professionals. Just show your IATA Card or CLIA Card at the Ticket Window or at Will Call.
