The Alma C. Field Library of Florida History

Located in the heart of downtown Cocoa Village, The Alma Clyde Field Library contains books on Florida, papers of prominent Floridians, historical maps, photos, artifacts and family histories. Currently the collection consists of volumes relevant to Florida of which over 6,000 have been cataloged, an extensive map collection, manuscripts and photographic holdings. Of note the Library also houses the local Mosquito Beaters' historical collection and the Alice Strickland collections of Floridiana. The Alma Clyde Field Library of Florida History also contains a souvenir shop with items reflecting the history and rich culture of Florida.
