The Grant Historical House is located on 7-acres of riverfront land known as Fisherman's Landing in Grant, Florida. Built in 1916, the house was the former home of Clara Christensen Bensen and arrived by riverboat from Jacksonville, Florida, precut for assembly. In recent years, the Grant Historical Society has taken over the preservation of the home. The public is welcome to visit the grounds, browse through the house, breath deep the fresh river breeze and remember how it was years ago. 2015 Bensen House Upcoming Events Bensen House Opens January 7th, 2015 Seafood Festival Feb. 28th - Mar. 1st Flea Market March 14th (8am - 2pm) Pioneer Fish Fry March 28th (5pm - 6:30) Rain Date (April 19th) Closed June, July, August through September 29th Reopens September 30th (10am - 4pm) Flea Market October 17th (8am - 2pm) Closed November 11th Christmas Open House December 3rd - 6th (10am - 6pm) Open December 9th - 11th (10am - 4pm) Closed December 16th Reopens January 6th 2016
