Located on the shores of the Indian River Lagoon, The Foosaner Art Museum in the heart of the Eau Gallie Arts District, epicenter of what many consider to be the pulse of arts and culture in the area with more than a dozen active galleries. Since opening in 1978, the Foosaner Art Museum has accumulated nearly 3,000 objects, spanning 20 centuries.
These items form the museum's permanent collection, reflecting not only the museum's interests and specialties, but also the lives of the people who have lived in the community.
