Based on the movie of the same name, "Miracle On 34th Street" features a book and score by none other than Meredith Wilson. Single mother, Doris Walker, doesn’t want her 6-year-old daughter Susan’s head filled with romantic notions. Their neighbor Fred Gailey tries to woo Doris by charming Susan and taking her to see Santa Claus at Macy’s, where Doris works. Doris is not impressed but when it turns out Macy’s Santa may in fact be the real Kris Kringle, a wave of love spreads across New York City that melts even the most cynical hearts. This joyous, heart-warming musical is pure family entertainment, the perfect holiday treat!

Just two actors portray all the crazy citizens in the rural town of Tuna, Texas — young, old, male, female — in a frenzy of quick costume and character changes. Their annual Christmas Yard Display Contest sets the lunacy in motion. A mysterious "Christmas Phantom," known for vandalizing the yard displays, threatens to throw the contest into turmoil, while Joe Bob Lipsey struggles to mount his production of A Christmas Carol despite numerous vexations and obstacles.

All December long, strap on your jingle bells and head to the Brevard Zoo for a flurry of festive fun! During the first few days of winter break, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a blizzard of activities including animal encounters, games, crafts and a DJ! Best of all, the zoo’s keepers will be presenting some of the animals with holiday “gifts” and other seasonal enrichment items. (Be sure to check the schedule posted at the entrance each day.) Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photos from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 22 and 23. All events and activities are free with zoo admission.

Come and enjoy the lights any night of the week from 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. More than 2.7 million twinkling holiday lights will ignite the night sky at Wickham Park in Melbourne November 21, 2016 through January 1, 2017. The Space Coast Lightfest is a holiday themed drive-through event transforming Wickham Park into a virtual winter wonderland. This family oriented celebration features shimmering lights and animated displays and draws more than 15,000 vehicles annually. This event is open on Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day! Hayrides are open every Thursday and Friday until Christmas.
Starting the season with a bang is the Gift of Light tree lighting and firework spectacular in Parrish Health Village Park. While attending this event you can meet Buddy, Jovi and other special elves. Enjoy games and prizes, face painting, cookie decorating, musical performances, complimentary baked goods and hot chocolate, and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Tree lighting ceremony starts at 7 p.m. The evening will conclude with fireworks.
'Tis the season to...RUN! Enjoy a beautiful night of Christmas music, lights and jingle bells as you run this holiday 5K in Titusville. All participants will receive a race shirt, refreshments, jingle bells and admission to Lights of Hope - Festival of Holiday Lights. Must pre-register to guarantee a T-shirt.
Let It Snow Downtown Street Party will be held Friday, December 2 in Downtown Titusville. Enjoy, live local music, local dance theater and martial arts performances. Local food vendors and food trucks will line the streets. In addition, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will arrive to welcome the holiday season and allow for photos to be taken on his sled for all children young and old.

Come out and join the 21st Annual Reindeer Run and experience the holiday spirit with runners from all over. BCSO PAL is a non-profit built on making a positive impact on the youth of Brevard County. Their mission is to provide leadership, team building and self-esteem improvement, and promote a drug free and alcohol free lifestyle through positive law enforcement interaction, education and athletic programs.
Ring in the holiday season on the water at the Cocoa Beach Holiday Boat Parade on Saturday, December 10 starting at 6 p.m. The parade will run along the eastern shoreline of the Banana River from the 520 Causeway to the Pineda Causeway. Make sure you bring lawn chairs and blankets!
The City of Melbourne's Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday, December 10. Sit back and enjoy the wonders of the Melbourne area as the hometown feeling of Christmas is brought to you. There will be locally made and designed floats from girl scout and boy scout troops, local businesses, churches, and other local community groups. Bands, ROTC groups, and dance teams will also perform. Oh and don't forget Santa!
Brevard County Parks and Recreation - Central Area Parks Operation, the City of Cocoa and the City of Rockledge invites you to this year's Cocoa/ Rockledge Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 6 p.m. The parade will begin at Rockledge High School on Florida Ave., continue through the streets of Historic Cocoa Village and will end at Cocoa's Riverfront Park.
For those looking to get in the Christmas spirit, the Christmas Fit-Mas 3K will be a great time. This 3K event in Viera benefits the Suntree Viera Youth Athletics and Hospitality Life. Participants are encouraged to wear their best Santa costume and enter the costume contest. Plus, moisture wicking race T-shirts for all particpants, race food and drink by Pizza Gallery & Grill, prizes and a free elf run for all kis. Race starts at 6 p.m. Registration starts at 4:30 p.m. and the family fun celebration starts at 7 p.m.

The Jingle Bell 2-miler is part of the 2016-17 Running Zone Foundation Race Series and a great way to start off the holiday week leading up to Christmas and New Year's Day. Participants will get jingle bells for their shoes, as well as Santa hats for the first 500 entrants. Wear your best holiday costume for your chance to win an award, and a special appearance by Santa and Zippy is also planned.
Each year the city of Satellite Beach and the Banana River Sail & Power Squadron team provide the opportunity for all boaters to decorate their boats, and demonstrate their originality as they share the Christmas spirit with all. Participants should start assembling at 6 p.m. at the north end of Satellite Beach’s Grand Canal and travel south.

In December 2009, George Trosset, his son George Jr., with his wife Britteny, paddled out for a Christmas Eve surf. Over the past 6 years, the gathering has grown to nearly 300 Surfing Santas in the ocean at the same time. Surfing Santas has evolved into an annual gathering of surfer enthusiasts from near and far who share the ride of Christmas magic. It's the one day a year that all surfers share all the waves at this local surf spot in Cocoa Beach. This Christmas event in Cocoa Beach cannot be missed! On December 24, 2016 at 8 a.m. EST, at 2 Minuteman Causeway in Cocoa Beach, Florida, this fantastically fun event will happen again. Hundreds of Surfing Santas will gather to ride the waves and share fun in the sun for the 8th annual Surfing Santas event. This is all for a good cause. All proceeds benefit two local non-profits, the “Grind for Life” organization and the Florida Surf Museum.
