Join Brevard Zoo for a spectacular evening of celebration! Known as one of Brevard’s largest and most prestigious events, Safari Under the Stars is more than just a great party—it raises critical funds to support the Zoo’s missions of animal wellness, education and conservation.
Safari Under the Stars will provide a sensational evening complete with themed cocktail parties, sumptuous culinary delights, tantalizing libations, animal encounters, auctions and Safari After Dark revelry with dancing, live music by Wonderama Band and a cigar lounge.
Eighteen-year-old Australian conservationist and media personality Bindi Irwin will be present to preview the Zoo’s new exhibit, Lands of Change: Australia and Beyond and speak to sponsors at a Saturday evening gala. Irwin, who is the daughter of “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, is known for winning season 21 of “Dancing with the Stars.” The general public will have the opportunity to attend a ticketed presentation featuring Irwin on Saturday morning; more information about that event will be released.
As part of a Friday night VIP event, Bill Klein and Jennifer Arnold of TLC’s “The Little Couple” will participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Zoo’s new Exceptional Nature Space designed specifically for children with varying exceptionalities. The space was constructed using funds raised at last year’s gala. Klein and Arnold will also be guests on Saturday evening.
