Guest Speaker:
Roy Laughlin, a local history writer and author of three books, will host the Indian River Queen’s history and ecology cruise. Two of his books describe the architectural heritage of Rockledge and Cocoa. A third, the most recent, is a compilation of memoirs describing central Brevard county 1870–1930. It also includes biographies of Cocoa residents, 1880–1950, who left a permanent legacy to our community through the institutions they founded, or the public service they rendered during their life times. Stuff does  not “just happen,” and those who knew how to manage events or make the best of it left much to our community that defines who we are.

This cruise includes a souvenir boarding photo, professional narration, full service cash bar with beverages and snacks.Passengers now have the option to bring a picnic lunch and to enjoy while on the cruise (no alcohol is permitted).
