NASA Earth. Your Home. Our Mission.

Throughout its history, NASA has used the vantage point of space to understand and explore our home planet, improve lives and safeguard our future. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex’s Earth Day celebrates how NASA contributes technology to help address sustainability challenges. Plus, see how NASA Earth Science Missions and technology spinoffs help us care for our planet.

Kennedy Space Center will welcome a variety of exhibitors to help promote eco-friendly and sustainable products, services and practices. To date, the following exhibitors are confirmed to join Earth Day 2019:

  • Georgia Tech Research Institute
  • Bat Conservatory
  • Butterfly Dan
  • Space Coast Audubon Society
  • Florida Bat Conservancy
  • Marine Resources Council
  • Brevard County Natural Resources – Stormwater Program
  • Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute
  • Delaware North at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

Exhibitors will be added regularly as confirmed.

Delaware North, the visitor complex’s operating company, will also have a booth to showcase how the visitor complex works with NASA to decrease waste on site and protect the local wildlife.

Butterfly Releases

Throughout the day, you can also join us for a butterfly release in one of our butterfly gardens outside Nature & Technology. This is a guest favorite! The schedule for the releases will be announced soon.

As with every Earth Day, all exhibitions and events are included with Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex daily admission. See you there!
