Runaway Country recently announced that Sarah Evans along with Dierks Bentley and Lo Cash Cowboys will be performing in this year's festival.

Held every year in Melbourne's Wickham Park, the festival also touts other country music heavy weights such as three-time vocal group of the year, Lady Antebellum, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Charlie Daniels Band. The music festival's organizers are excited about the newest additions to their lineup and expect festival goers will be too. They're so confident, they've requested the festival's on site campground be doubled in size to meet the additional influx of country music lovers. Runaway Country's lineup also includes Billy Currington, Craig Morgan, Colt Ford, The Farm,Parmelee, The Lacs, Tobacco Rd Band, Tom Jackson, Jills Cash Box, Samantha Russell Band, and Bubba Whoop A**Wilson. This year Runaway Country has moved to an earlier date, March 22nd thru 24th, making it the kick-off event of the touring and festival season. Gil Cunningham, president of Neste Entertainment, a major talent and booking agency in Nashville said, "Runaway Country is like the Daytona 500 of music festivals, the start to a brand new season".
