Sand will become art on Florida's Space Coast this spring with ART OF SAND, WILD FLORIDA: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE at Brevard Zoo.
Slated for February 16-May 27, 2013, this sandy exhibit, featuring breathtaking sculptures, some towering as high as 15 feet, invites you to take a walk on the wild side through their quarter mile trail as you explore new depths of art and history from 24 million B.C to the Modern Era! ART OF SAND, WILD FLORIDA: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE will also include educational programs, hands-on activities for children, Sand Camps, opportunities to interact with master sculptors and more! This is the first time the Art of Sand has been hosted by the Brevard Zoo. In the past, the annual festival has been held on Cocoa Beach and at Space Coast Stadium. Admission into ART OF SAND, WILD FLORIDA: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $2 for children 2 through 12. Admission is separate from regular Zoo admission. The Brevard Zoo is located at 3865 N. Wickham Road in Melbourne, Florida.
