When vacationing on Florida’s Space Coast you’re bound to take a million photos and share them with friends and family on social media. Why not string a few pictures together, mix in a video, and make a story to send to them? Here are a few spots that make great locations for a Snapchat or Instagram story:

1) Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier - Cocoa Beach

The pier presents a classic Space Coast image. There’s surf action every day, and restaurants nearby so you can eat and catch the sunrise (or sunset) on the beach. There’s also things to keep you busy all day, like volleyball or an electric skateboard rental that you can ride around on the beach.

2) Ron Jon Surf Shop - Cocoa Beach

You can’t come to Cocoa Beach and not stop at Ron Jon Surf Shop! Inside, you’ll find every beach-related item imaginable. From boogie boards and swimsuits to beach chairs and everyday clothing, this store has everything you need for your beach vacation. Not to mention, they’re open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Also, you can learn about the history of surf at the Florida Surf Museum next door, and you can even sign up for a surf lesson from some of the best instructors around. Outside you can find statues made to commemorate surfing legends and Ron Jon’s past. These make for a great photo opportunity. Plus, you can show off your new surf knowledge in a snap. Be sure not to miss the Kelly Slater statue that’s down the road at the entrance of Downtown Cocoa Beach.

3) Intracoastal Waterways

The Indian River Lagoon is great place for a water adventure. Whether you’re interested in kayaking, jet skiing, or fishing, the Indian River Lagoon makes for a fun day. The lagoon runs the length of Florida’s Space Coast and can be accessed from Melbourne, Cocoa Beach and Titusville. It’s also home to a variety of wildlife including manatees, dolphins, otters, fish and birds. There’s lots of opportunities for snappin’ here, and you may even be able to catch a rocket launch from your kayak if you time it right!

4) Zip Line at Treetop Trek Aerial Adventure – Melbourne

At this elevated obstacle course and zip-line at Brevard Zoo, you’ll have the opportunity to see animal residents and exhibits, providing plenty of social sharing opportunities. Give your friends a case of serious FOMO (fear of missing out) and send a quick snap of yourself zip lining over the alligator pt.

5) Smash Golf – Melbourne

Have you ever heard of Smash Golf? This game is a combo of tennis and golf that is played on a 9-hole golf course. Instead of using a golf club, you play the course using a tennis racquet with a golf putter on the end and specially designed colorful soft ball. No experience is necessary, and it’s actually requires less technical proficiency than golf. Take some slow-motion video of the action, or an artsy sunset photo on the green. Complete your night with some dinner at the nearby Avenue Viera.
