Whether you have 24 hours or a week to spare, it’s time for you and your friends to make a break and get away. Some may enjoy a vacation that’s laid back and relaxing while others like to see everything the area has to offer. No matter what your preference is, there’s something for everyone here on Florida’s Space Coast.

So what are you waiting for? Come immerse yourself in the sun and surf and enjoy the local community, culture and cuisine of Cocoa Beach. At the end of your trip, you will never want to leave! How will you spend 24 hours in Cocoa Beach? Here’s a few ideas for you:

Start Your Day on the Beach

Coconuts on the Beach

Watch the stars disappear as the sky turns shades of beautiful pink, yellow and orange and the sun reflects off the ocean. Spot incoming cruise ships make their way to Port Canaveral and see surfers catch the first waves of the day.

Explore Cocoa Beach…with a View

While riding bikes down the beach is one way to see the area, taking a helicopter ride allows you to see the beautiful coastline from the sky. Look one way and you’ll see miles out into the Atlantic Ocean. Look the other way and you see Florida’s Space Coast’s natural beauty with the Banana River and the Indian River Lagoon in the distance. And if the sky is really clear, you may even see the Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center.

Take an Adventure

If picking through antiques or viewing art by local artists excites you, Cocoa Beach’s art and culture offers endless possibilities to keep you entertained. If you prefer something more active, Cocoa Beach has the perfect combination of sun, sea and space for you to explore.

You can take advantage of Cocoa Beach’s year round warm weather with an exciting game of mini golf at Lighthouse Cove Mini Golf or with a surf lesson from Ron Jon Surf School.

The Night is Young

Nightlife at Fishlips in Port Canaveral

By now you’re probably wondering where a nap fits in? LOL! Trust us, we’re tracking with you, but the nightlife in Cocoa Beach is not to be missed. Hop in an UBER and drop in for dinner and drinks at one of the many local restaurants and enjoy a taste of the local cuisine. Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill offers dining and drinks with a view. Plus, some nights you can bust out your best moves there with your friends on the dance floor.

After dinner and dancing, drop by the famous Ron Jon Surf Shop, which is open 24 hours! You can find awesome T-shirts, gear and souvenirs throughout the store. And if that’s not enough to cap off your day in Cocoa Beach, enjoy a night cap by the pool and gear up for your next adventure.
