Calling all foodies! The Florida Key Lime Pie Festival will return to Florida's Space Coast on Saturday, January 18, bigger and better than ever and with an all new location. With all new digs at Kiwanis Island Park in Merritt Island, Florida the Florida Key Lime Pie Festival centers around what's become known as our state's dessert. Festival goers will be able to check out dozens of cooking demonstrations, taste a sample or two, or even enter themselves into a Key Lime Pie eating contest. Other one-of-a-kind experiences include the crowning of Miss Florida Key Lime Pie, a bartenders challenge, hot sauce competition and an arts & crafts showcase featuring the works of Florida artisans. Channel 13 news anchor Allison Walker is this year's emcee for the event, which carries a Fresh from Florida theme and features samples from many Space Coast restaurants. Admission to the 3rd Annual Florida Key Lime Pie Festival is $10 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 12. Children 4 and younger are admitted free.
