The Eau Gallie Arts District (EGAD) will host its fifth annual Eau Gallie Founders Day on historic Highland Avenue on Saturday, February 7, from Noon-5 p.m. This annual tradition celebrates the historical roots of the town of Eau Gallie and includes live musical entertainment from St. Johns Wood, family activities from the Eau Gallie Public Library, Foosaner Art Museum and the Brevard Zoo, historic presentations and, of course, the traditional fish fry dinner. Its family fun for all ages in honor of the founders of Eau Gallie. This event is open to the public and free to attend. Ala carte meals are $10 for the entree and two sides plus one water or soft drink. Beer is $4 each and ticket sales are both beer and meal tickets are being offered online in advance to minimize time in line. Eau Gallie Founders Day is about celebrating the past while blazing a trail into the future. The revival of the Eau Gallie traditional fish fry stems from our desire to reach back to an easier time, when neighbors, merchants, and residents interacted, children played, and bands marched on. The traditional fish fry dinner features two sides plus bottled water or soft drink. Also available will be craft beer selections from Intracoastal Brewing Company as well as an expanded menu offering a meat dinner option plus assorted fun foods. This year, elevate your experience by opting for the Founders Tent for comfortable seating and a VIP badge for $50. Treat the whole family or company and opt for a packaged sponsorship!
