It's going to be a busy weekend on Florida's Space Coast, so stock up on your vitamins, get some rest then get out and enjoy it. Last week was for art lovers, the next three days will be filled with music for the ears. A number of highly anticipated concerts and festivals headline our monthly calendar and they all happen this weekend. If you love country music we recommend heading out to the 2015 Runaway Country Music Festival in Wickham Park. Believe it or not, there are still tickets available for this three-day concert featuring some of the music industry's biggest stars including Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Lee Brice and LoCash Cowboys.
Other musical offerings this weekend include Spring Praise Fest in Cocoa Village, Space Coast Symphony Orchestra in concert performing Tchaikovsky's Fifth and ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN performed by Gary Mullen and the Works. On Friday and Saturday, look skyward for the 2015 Melbourne Air & Space Show. Sponsored by Northrop Grumman, the air show will soar into Melbourne International Airport March 21-22, headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, and featuring demos by the F-22 Raptor, an Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon and a Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey! A prototype of the X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) will also be a festival highlight! Gates open at 9am each day. Like your food from a truck? Cocoa Village will host food trucks along with a viewing of The Lego Movie in Riverfront Park on Friday night beginning at 8pm. On Sunday, The Food Truck Bazaar returns to Sand Point Park in Titusville. Admission is free for both events. Bring blankets and lawn chairs and of course money for food. Oh and we can't forget there's also a rocket launch as well this weekend:)
