Here comes Santa Claus

Here comes Santa Claus

Right down Santa Claus La...um wait, is that Santa on a surfboard in the Atlantic Ocean? You bet it is!

The 9th annual Surfing Santa Cocoa Beach event is gearing up to take place on Sunday, December 24, 2017. This event has been spreading Christmas cheer on Florida’s Space Coast since 2009 and has easily become one of the locals and vacationers favorite ways to enjoy the Christmas holiday.

Not only is it fun to enjoy world famous beaches but also making this a family outing is a great way to make lasting memories this holiday season. Last year, there were over 600 Surfing Santas and other Christmas characters, and this year the event is expecting an even greater turnout this year.

Additional Event Info

And in the spirit of giving, this event is also for a good cause. All the proceeds from donations and the official Surfing Santa T-shirt will go to Grind for Life and the Florida Surf Museum. Since the inaugural Surfing Santas event in 2009, over $60,000 has been raised. What a great time and way to spread holiday cheer than by supporting these two organizations.

There will be plenty of parking available throughout Downtown Cocoa Beach and the local area restaurants and businesses will be open to serve participants and spectators. There will also be live entertainment
