DESCRIPTION

Kennedy Space Center's Visitor Complex will host NASA's Third Annual Lunabotics Mining Competition from May 21-26. The university-level competition hosts more than 60 college's who were challenged to design and build a Lunabot, an excavator that can mine and deposit a minimum of 10 kilograms of lunar simulant within 10 minutes.
